Selection Process and Application Fees
Selection for the SAIL recruitment at the Bokaro Steel Plant will be based on a computer-based test and an interview. Candidates applying for Manager and Deputy Manager positions must be under 35 years of age. For the Manager (Projects) Grade E-2 positions, the maximum age is 32 years. Additionally, there is a 3-year age relaxation for OBC (NCL) candidates and a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Application fees for General and OBC category candidates are Rs. 700 as application fee and Rs. 200 as processing fee. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempt from application fees but must pay the processing fee of Rs. 200.
