What’s inside:

A big fire broke out in a tent warehouse in Patna, causing panic among local residents and significant property loss.

On Saturday night, a huge fire erupted at the Maharaja Tent and Event Management warehouse in Danapur, Patna. This warehouse is located in a residential area, which added to the chaos as flames and smoke could be seen from far away. The fire quickly consumed valuable items like tent materials, sofa sets, and crockery worth lakhs of rupees.

The initial investigation suggests that a short circuit caused the fire. A Bullet bike parked inside the warehouse reportedly caught fire first and then exploded, which startled people nearby. The explosion led to the fire spreading rapidly, engulfing the entire warehouse within moments.

This incident happened in Rukanpura Vijaynagar, near Lane No. 6 of the Rupaspur police station area. As soon as news of the fire spread, residents panicked and rushed out of their homes. Many families tried to save their belongings, resulting in a scene of shouting and confusion in the area.

Local residents acted quickly by calling the fire department and police. Five fire brigade vehicles arrived on the scene, and firefighters worked tirelessly, with help from locals, to control the fire. The presence of flammable materials in the warehouse made it difficult to extinguish the flames.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries from this incident, but the economic loss is believed to be quite significant. Police and fire officials have begun their investigations, raising concerns about safety measures for warehouses situated in residential areas.
