Muzaffarpur Police Arrests Mastermind Criminal and Accomplice
Muzaffarpur police have arrested 2 criminals, including the mastermind behind the shooting of a former mukhiya. Illegal weapons were recovered from their possession, while one criminal managed to escape. The police are taking further action to apprehend the fugitive.
Police Action Based on Tip-Off
Based on a tip-off received by Bochaha Thana in Muzaffarpur, a team reached the location near Karnapur North Bochaha High School where three individuals were planning a serious incident with illegal weapons. Upon seeing the police team, three criminals tried to flee but two were caught with a desi katta and a live cartridge in their possession.
Charges Filed Against Criminals
The arrested criminals have been charged under various sections including Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 (1-b) of the Arms Act. The identities of the arrested individuals have been confirmed as Vikas Kumar and Sachin Kumar, with further investigations underway to apprehend the fugitive Suraj Kumar.
Past Criminal Record of Mastermind
The mastermind, Vikas Kumar, has a history of criminal activities and has previously been jailed multiple times. In 2021, he was involved in a shooting incident targeting a mukhiya, and in 2022, a stolen bike was recovered from him. His gang is known for their involvement in various robbery incidents.
