Medical Student Murdered in Satara, Maharashtra
A medical student from Bihar was murdered in Satara, Maharashtra. It is reported that her boyfriend threw her from the fourth floor of a building, resulting in her death. The girl was identified as Arushi Mishra, originally from Muzaffarpur, whose mother is a doctor. The accused boyfriend, Dhruv Chikkar, hails from Sonipat, Haryana. Both were studying first-year medical at Krishna Medical College in Karad, Satara.
Argument Leads to Tragic Incident
During an argument, the boyfriend threw the girlfriend from a building near Krishna Medical College in Karad, where they both lived in a rented flat. Dhruv had called Arushi to meet him in his flat on Wednesday, suspecting her of having an affair with someone else. An argument ensued, leading to physical violence and ultimately the tragic incident where Arushi lost her life.
Delhi Friendship and Medical Studies
Arushi and Dhruv were friends since they were studying together in Delhi. Their friendship continued when they both enrolled in medical college in Karad. It is said that Dhruv threw Arushi from the fourth floor of the building. During the scuffle, Dhruv also sustained injuries and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Arushi’s mother has arrived in Karad, and the police have registered a case against Dhruv under section 103 of the Indian Penal Code.
