RIMS Hosts State TB Task Force Meeting
Under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program, the State TB Task Force meeting was held at RIMS on Friday. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Manoj Kumar, the head of the State TB Task Force in Jharkhand. RIMS Director Prof. Dr. Rajkumar emphasized the need to identify the treatment methods and proper testing for TB. He urged participants from all medical colleges in the state to review the activities carried out under the TB elimination program and take necessary steps to achieve the goal of TB elimination by 2030.
Discussion on TB Programs in the State
State Tuberculosis Officer Dr. Kamlesh Kumar elaborated on the activities carried out so far in relation to the TB program being implemented in the state. During the event, STF President Dr. Manoj Kumar presented on the activities being carried out in the field of TB in various medical colleges in the state. It was highlighted that taking necessary steps is crucial to achieve the goal of TB elimination by 2030.
Importance of Collaboration for TB Elimination
Collaboration among medical institutions and healthcare professionals is essential for the successful implementation of the TB elimination program. The need for proper treatment methods and testing procedures was emphasized during the meeting. Dr. Manoj Kumar stressed the importance of reviewing and assessing the ongoing activities to ensure that the TB elimination goals are met within the specified timeframe.

राष्ट्रीय यक्ष्मा (टीबी) उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम के तहत स्टेट टीबी टास्क फोर्स की बैठक रिम्स में आयोजित की गई, जिसमें झारखंड के अध्यक्ष डॉ. मनोज कुमार ने अध्यक्षता की। रिम्स निदेशक ने टीबी के इलाज और जांच के लिए उचित कदमों की जरूरत की बात कही। राज्य यक्ष्मा पदाधिकारी ने टीबी कार्यक्रम के कार्यों की समीक्षा करने का आग्रह किया।
