Monsoon Revival in Bihar
After 15 days of passing through the month of Sawan, the monsoon has picked up pace once again in Bihar. The weather department believes that a low-pressure area has formed over the Ganges region of West Bengal and adjoining areas of Jharkhand. The associated cyclonic circulation has spread up to 7.6 kilometers above sea level. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in the southern part of the state and adjoining districts in the next two days. People have been advised not to swim, bathe, or operate boats in the rivers during this rainy weather to avoid any mishaps.

Weather Alerts Issued
The weather department issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rainfall in Patna, Nalanda, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, and other areas. Orange alerts were issued for Gaya, Nawada, Araria, Kishanganj, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Rohtas, and other regions where medium rainfall is expected. People have been urged to keep their livestock indoors and stay in safe places during the bad weather to avoid any risks.

Heatwave in Gopalganj
Gopalganj recorded the highest temperature in Bihar, while many districts experienced a drop in temperature due to rainfall in the past two days. Maximum temperatures in various districts were recorded, with Gopalganj reaching 35.6 degrees Celsius. The past 24 hours saw moderate rainfall across Bihar, with heavy rainfall reported in some areas of Nalanda and Nawada districts.

Rainfall Across Bihar
In the last 24 hours, Bihar experienced moderate rainfall throughout the state. The maximum temperature remained higher than normal during this hot weather period, with temperatures consistently around 37 to 38 degrees Celsius in July. The weather analysis indicates the impact of cyclonic circulation on the western part of West Bengal and surrounding areas, leading to the possibility of heavy rainfall in some parts of southeastern Bihar in the next 24 to 48 hours. This rainfall is expected to benefit farmers due to the decrease in temperature and widespread rainfall.
