VIP President Mukesh Sahni has once again expressed his demand for reservations for the Nishad community and openly shared his opinion on caste-based census. He also hinted at which party he will work with to sail through the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In a special interview with News18 Bihar-Jharkhand, Sahni stated that they will align with the coalition that fulfills their demand for reservation for the Nishad community.
Sahni mentioned that the election results of 5 states will be announced on the 3rd date. Therefore, soon they will announce which coalition they will join. However, he clarified that they will align with the coalition that works towards providing reservation for the Nishad community.
Sahni emphasized that they have been running a campaign for the past 8-9 years for the welfare of their community. They formed a party and even had four legislators. However, some people tried to break their party and legislators. But they will continue their campaign. He appealed to the people to not sell their votes and use their rights wisely.
Mukesh Sahni thanked Nitish Kumar for the caste-based census in Bihar. He mentioned that Bihar has 63% OBCs, with Nishad community comprising around 10%. They are in the second position. In the coming time, they will not stay behind anyone. Whoever joins their boat, they will sail through.
Sahni stated that their people also need participation in power. They need reservation, as it is their right. They will continue to fight for reservation. They are running a campaign to provide reservation for Nishads in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Currently, there is no collector from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Regarding education in the Nishad community, Sahni mentioned that their people are far away from education. They live near land and water and cannot go to the cities. However, awareness is slowly spreading among the people. The younger generation is now educating their children. He appealed to the people to prioritize educating their children, even if they have to compromise on their meals.
Sahni mentioned that the central government is responsible for reservations. BJP is in power at the center. Therefore, they hope that BJP will fulfill their demand for reservations. They have time until 2024, so they request the Prime Minister to fulfill the demands of their community.
पटना के वीआईपी प्रमुख मुकेश सहनी ने निषाद समाज को आरक्षण देने की मांग की है और इसके साथ ही वह बताया है कि वह किस गठबंधन के साथ 2024 लोकसभा चुनाव में जुड़ेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि आगामी चुनाव में वह उस गठबंधन के साथ जाएंगे, जो निषाद समाज को आरक्षण देने का काम करेगा। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने शिक्षा को लेकर भी बातचीत की और कहा कि लोगों को बच्चों की शिक्षा दिलानी चाहिए। वीआईपी प्रमुख ने भी आरक्षण को लेकर केंद्र सरकार से आशा जताई है और मांग पूरी करने की अपील की है।
