Munger Crime: Five Arrested Including Son of Deputy Chief Councilor
- The police of Asarganj police station in Munger arrested five people, including the son of the deputy chief councilor of Sultanganj Municipal Council, with weapons from Kanwariya Path, Sadpur village.
- The criminals had gathered on Kanwariya Path to plan a major crime incident and firing was done to spread panic.
Police Raid and Arrest
- Police received information about the criminals and formed a special team.
- When the criminals saw the police, some tried to escape but were apprehended.
- During the search, weapons, cartridges, mobiles, and other items were recovered.
Accused Identified and Sent to Jail
- Ankit Kumar, the son of the deputy chief councilor, was among those arrested.
- Other arrested individuals were identified as Rupak Kumar, Suman Kumar, Sunny Kumar, and Mahesh Kumar.
- They were all sent to jail after interrogation.
Special Camp for Electricity Consumers in Munger
- A special camp will be organized on September 5 to address the issues faced by electricity consumers in Munger area.
- All complaints related to the Electricity Department will be heard and resolved during the camp.
- The camp will be organized by the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum in Munger Office of Electricity Supply Sub-Divisional.
