The police, led by SI Chandrashekhar Kumar, arrived at the scene on Sunday afternoon with their team and took the body into custody for postmortem at the Aurangabad Sadar Hospital. The deceased was a farmer. The Haspura police station in-charge mentioned that after the postmortem, the body will be handed over to the family for the last rites. Based on the family’s request, the police are taking further action in the case.
