Police Investigates Murder During Cricket Game
In Navada, a friend murdered another friend. The incident took place in Kurma village in the Nagar police station area. The victim has been identified as Rahul Kumar (12), son of Pappu Choudhary. Local residents claim that the incident occurred during a dispute that escalated while playing cricket.
Murder During Cricket Game
The father of the victim, Pappu Choudhary, revealed that the children were playing cricket near their home in Kurma village. A dispute started between his son Rahul Kumar and the son of Pintu Choudhary, Roshan Kumar, while playing cricket. Roshan’s grandfather, Suresh Choudhary, arrived at the scene and grabbed Rahul’s hand, leading to a fatal blow to Rahul’s head with a brick. Rahul collapsed on the ground, causing chaos in the area. He was rushed to the Navada Sadar Hospital where he was declared dead by doctors.
Old Enmity Led to Murder
Pappu Choudhary mentioned that his son’s murder was a result of an old enmity brought up during a cricket game. Sub-Inspector Ramesh Kumar Yadav stated that a complaint has been filed by the relatives, and an investigation is ongoing. The incident occurred due to a dispute between the children. After the incident, the police conducted raids, but all the accused are currently on the run. The body has been handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination. The relatives of the victim have accused Suresh Choudhary and Roshan Kumar, sons of Bundi Choudhary and Pintu Choudhary, respectively.
