Expanding on the incident in Palamu district of Jharkhand, a man was fatally shot by his cousin during a Holi party. The police provided details of the incident, which took place near Kalyanpur village in the Chianpur police station area on Tuesday night.
The family had organized a Holi party on Tuesday night, during which a dispute arose between two cousins. The cousins were identified as Ajay Choudhary and Manoj Choudhary. Medininagar SDPO Manibhushan Prasad stated, “Ajay assaulted Manoj with a knife during the party and then shot at him twice. Manoj was immediately taken to Medininagar Medical College and Hospital.” Ajay has been missing since the incident. Manoj had a criminal background and was wanted in eight cases, including highway robbery.
