13-Year-Old Girl Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances in Saasaram

A 13-year-old girl belonging to the primitive tribal community working in the brick kiln of Saasaram died under suspicious circumstances. The family alleges that the girl was first raped and then murdered. After the death of the minor, the contractor of the brick kiln brought her body to the girl’s home in Palamu and buried it in the absence of her mother. The villagers informed the girl’s mother about the incident, who then lodged a complaint with the police.

The police have registered an FIR in the case and are investigating the brick kiln owner in Saasaram as the main suspect. A team from Palamu police has reached Saasaram to arrest the owner and contractor of the brick kiln. The villagers have accused them of committing the crime and burying the girl’s body in Palamu.

It is alleged that the girl was trafficked eight months ago to work in the brick kiln in Saasaram, Bihar.
