The victim has been identified as Ajay Kumar Sahni, the son of Baalveshwar Sahni from the Rajapur village.
According to the family, Ajay Kumar Sahni was working with marble stones in Delhi. He had come home on the occasion of Chhath Puja. He was called out of the house by someone and did not return for a long time. His family searched for him but could not find him. Later, it was discovered that his body was found in a bush near the Balan River. When the family went to see the body, they recognized it as Ajay Kumar Sahni. The criminals had brutally murdered him and dumped his body in the bush. The police have taken control of the situation and have sent the body for postmortem to the Sadar Hospital in Begusarai.
