Three Criminals Shoot and Kill Cattle Trader in Rani Ganj, Araria

Three criminals riding a bike shot and killed a cattle trader near Ramnagar canal in the Rani Ganj police station area in Araria. The criminals also looted the trader of one and a half million rupees. The injured trader was rushed to the Rani Ganj Referral Hospital by locals and family members after the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Babul Ikbal Akhtar, a 40-year-old resident of Barbanna village in the Palasi police station area. Akhtar, along with his father and younger brother, was on his way to purchase cattle from Madhepura when the criminals on a Pulsar bike surrounded them near Ramnagar canal. They shot Akhtar in the head and fled after looting the money.

After being shot, Babul Ikbal Akhtar was taken to the Rani Ganj Referral Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors on duty.
