Murder of RTI Activist in Betiya
An RTI activist was murdered in Betiya. The incident took place in the Sareh village of the Manuapul OP Thana area. The criminals used sharp weapons to kill the activist and threw his body. The victim was identified as Harun Miyan from Puraina Gosai Tola in Chanpatiya Thana area.

During one of these trips, the criminals took the opportunity to kill him in the Sareh area of the Dubwalia Thana region and threw his body. The activist had wounds on his hands and face. The motive behind the murder is still unknown. The police took control of the body and sent it for post-mortem at the GMC Betiya. Harun Miyan also ran an organization called “Samaj Sudhar Jagrukta Senani” in Chanpatiya.
Search Operations for the Criminals
The police have launched search operations to find the criminals involved in the murder. The Manuapul Thana SHO, Mo. Alauddin, confirmed the murder of the RTI activist. The body was thrown after being killed with sharp weapons, and there were deep wounds on his face and hands. Blood was found at the crime scene. The victim’s identity was established through his Aadhaar card found in his pocket. The police have informed the family members and are conducting investigations to find the culprits.
