Railway Bridge Murder Suspect Climbs Bridge, Disrupts Train Services
In Darbhanga, train services on the Darbhanga-Samastipur rail section were disrupted for several hours due to a murder suspect climbing a railway bridge. The suspect’s actions led to the halting of trains running on this route. After much difficulty, local police and railway police were able to bring him down from the bridge after several hours. The suspect has been identified as Mahadev Sahni, a resident of Akraha Utari Tola in the APHM police station area.
Suspect Fled After Committing Murder
According to the police, the incident took place in Sirniya village in the APHM police station area, where a youth attacked two other youths with a sharp weapon while they were standing outside a shop to recharge their mobile phones. As a result, Ashif (40) died on the spot, while the other youth, Nuja Mahato, sustained serious injuries. In panic, local residents admitted him to the DMCH. After stabbing, the suspect Mahadev Sahni fled from there and climbed onto the railway bridge number 17.
Train Services Resumed After Suspect Was Brought Down
After the suspect climbed the bridge, train services on the route were disrupted for several hours. However, with the help of local police and railway police, the suspect was eventually brought down from the bridge. Train services were then able to resume. The investigation into the murder case is ongoing, and the police are working to gather further evidence and apprehend the suspect.
