Muzaffarpur Administration Takes Strong Action Against Illegal Encroachments, Frees Government Land in Rural Areas

Muzaffarpur is seeing some big changes as the Bihar government steps up its fight against illegal construction. Recently, the Home Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, made it clear that no illegal buildings will be allowed, whether they are on roadsides or on government property. Following these instructions, the administration has begun taking action not just in the city but also in rural parts.

In a recent operation, the administration took strong steps in the Rajkhand area under Aurai police station. On Thursday, a team led by the Circle Officer, Gautam Kumar, and the local police chief, Raja Singh, used a JCB to clear illegal constructions from government land. They had a significant police presence to ensure everything went smoothly and to manage any potential protests.

The administration successfully removed illegal structures and reclaimed the government land. Gautam Kumar, the Circle Officer, mentioned that this campaign is part of a larger order from higher officials. They have started identifying encroached lands to clear them effectively.

Local residents and encroachers have been urged to vacate the illegally occupied lands voluntarily. The Circle Officer warned that if they do not remove their structures, the administration will identify them and continue the bulldozer actions. There could also be fines imposed on those who do not comply.
