Dev Shilpi Baba Vishwakarma will be worshiped with great pomp on Sunday. Puja will be held at about five thousand places in all the industries, business centers, Bella Industries area, garages, etc. in rural and urban areas of the district. Every year this festival is celebrated on 17 September. Pandals have been set up at various places at intersections. The factories including big and small garages, lathe machines, workshops, etc. were cleaned a month ago. Decoration work has also been completed in showrooms, etc. of big vehicles.
Puja will be held in 50 electric power sub stations
Various tractor agencies and bike showrooms are also decorated and ready, after which pandals have been set up and lights, etc. have been installed. The decoration work has been completed with cleanliness all around. There is a lot of puja in about 50 electric power sub-stations of the district. The statue of Baba Vishwakarma has been installed by setting up a big pandal at Binda Power Sub Station of Mushahari block. Rajesh Kumar, the chief host of the said puja, said that everyone from the electricity officers to the workers of the district have been invited. Apart from this, public representatives have also been called.
Ten thousand statues were sold
Baba Vishwakarma will be worshipped in about 400 factories in Bela Industries. Sculptor Ramesh Pandit said that there are about a hundred sculptors in the district. About ten thousand idols, including big and small, were sold. He said that there was more demand for medium-sized idols.
