A firing incident in the Meenapur police station area of Muzaffarpur has now turned into a double murder case. Following the death of 55-year-old Deep Lal Sah on the spot last Friday night, the second victim, 70-year-old Bhola Singh, passed away on Monday morning during his treatment. Even after four days of the incident, the local police are yet to identify or arrest the shooters who carried out the attack on a scooter.

What exactly happened during the Meenapur firing incident?
The incident took place near Bishahar Sthan in the Loutan area late at night. Two unidentified criminals on a scooter arrived at the spot and started firing indiscriminately. Deep Lal Sah, a resident of Gangichhapra who was mentally challenged and lived by begging, died immediately at the scene. Bhola Singh was critically injured in the attack and was undergoing treatment at a hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning. The local residents are in a state of fear as the perpetrators remain at large.
