On the occasion of the holy 554th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, a Nagar Kirtan (religious procession) was organized by the Sikh community in Samastipur. The Nagar Kirtan started from the Gurudwara located in Marwadi Bazaar and proceeded through various routes in the city before concluding at the Gurudwara. During the procession, the members of the society, including women, enthusiastically participated in the chanting and praise of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Other communities also extended their support during this event.

समस्तीपुर में श्री गुरुनानक देव जी महाराज के पावन 554 वें प्रकाश उत्सव के अवसर पर रविवार को सिख समुदाय के लोगों ने नगर कीर्तन का आयोजन किया। गुरुद्वारा से निकला नगर कीर्तन शहर के विभिन्न मार्गों से होते हुए पुनः गुरुद्वारा पहुंचा। समाज के सभी साध संगत ने गुरुनानक देव जी की शान में शब्द कीर्तन और गुणगान किया। महिलाएं भी इस मौके पर भाग लेती रहीं और दूसरे समुदाय के लोग भी सहयोग किया।
