West Singhbhum: Naxalites in the Jarai Kela area of the district killed a police informer by shooting him. The incident took place on Tuesday night at around 10 o’clock in the Samtha village of the Saranda forest.
The victim, a former associate of the Naxalites, was identified as a police informer. The Naxalites accused him of betrayal and shot him dead in the Ichhapiri Tola of Saranda village.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are on the lookout for the Naxalites responsible for the murder. Security has been tightened in the area to prevent any further violence.
