The NDA’s Sheikhpura Assembly Workers Conference highlighted party strategies and government initiatives aimed at empowering women and improving public welfare.

On September 16, 2025, a big conference for NDA workers took place in Sheikhpura at the Islamian High School ground. Many leaders from different NDA parties attended, and a large number of workers showed up to support them.

During the conference, Umesh Singh Kushwaha, the JD(U) State President, responded to the opposition’s claims that their party was finished. He emphasized that Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar are the only suitable leaders for the country and the state, stressing that some parties, like Tejashwi’s, only focus on gaining votes.

Kushwaha also talked directly to the women present, sharing that the government is providing ₹10,000 to help women start their own jobs. He mentioned that the government would also give them ₹2 lakh as assistance, which they don’t need to pay back, aiming to make them self-sufficient.

Janak Ram, the SC-ST Welfare Minister, highlighted the contrast between the previous government led by Lalu Rabri and the current Nitish government, which has improved infrastructure like roads and electricity. He urged people to protect their votes and not let anyone take advantage of them.

Other leaders, including Jitendranath and Shambhu Sharan Patel, also spoke at the event. The conference was chaired by Randhir Kumar Soni, a former MLA and current JD(U) District President, marking a significant gathering for the NDA supporters.
