Introduction
A new train, the Dumka-Patna Express, will now run on the Bhagalpur-Jamalpur route, giving another gift to Bihar. The railway has provided this new gift to the railway passengers traveling on the Bhagalpur-Jamalpur-Kiul railway section of the Sahibganj Loop Line on the New Year. The railway has decided to run the Dumka-Patna Express train from Dumka to Bhagalpur-Jamalpur. The journey from Dumka to Bhagalpur will now take less than 3 hours, while passengers traveling to Patna will cover the distance in just 5 hours.
Train Schedule and Route
The timetable for the Dumka-Patna Express train has already been announced and the train will be operated via Hansdiha. The train will have limited stops along the route. The operation of the Dumka-Bhagalpur-Patna train will start in January. However, the exact date of commencement has not been announced by the railway yet. The permission to run this train was given by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on the request of Godda MP Nishikant Dubey. The train will travel from Dumka to Bhagalpur-Sultanganj and Jamalpur, reaching Patna.
Reduced Travel Time
The journey from Dumka to Bhagalpur, which currently takes more than 3 hours by any other train, will now be completed within 3 hours by this train. The train will depart from Dumka at 14:05 in the afternoon and reach Bhagalpur at 16:32. After a 2-minute halt, the train will depart from KIUL railway station at 19:03 and reach Patna at 21:45. From Patna, the train will depart at 6:40 in the morning and reach KIUL at 8:32. After a 5-minute halt, the train will depart from KIUL at 11:05 and reach Bhagalpur at 13:30. Finally, the train will depart from Bhagalpur at 14:50 and reach Dumka at 16:32.
Convenience for Passengers
The introduction of the Dumka-Patna Express train will provide convenience to the people of Bhagalpur, Munger, Sultanpur, and nearby areas for traveling to Dumka and Patna. The train will also have a halt at Hansdiha, benefiting the people of Bhagalpur. MP Nishikant Dubey expressed his gratitude to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for providing this gift to the people of Bhagalpur and surrounding areas.
बिहार के भागलपुर-जमालपुर रूट पर एक नई ट्रेन, दुमका-पटना एक्सप्रेस की सौगात मिली है। इससे दुमका से भागलपुर तक का सफर 3 घंटे से भी कम होगा और पटना जाने वाले यात्रियों की दूरी 5 घंटे में तय होगी। इस ट्रेन का ठहराव हंसडीहा में भी होगा और इसकी समय सारिणी भी जारी कर दी गई है। यह ट्रेन जनवरी से शुरू होगी। इसके चलते भागलपुर, मुंगेर, सुल्तानगंज, जमालपुर और किऊल के लोगों को यात्रा में सहूलियत मिलेगी। इसके लिए भागलपुर के लोगों ने रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव का आभार व्यक्त किया है।
