Environment Campaign in Bhojpur
An initiative has been started in Bihar’s Bhojpur where organic manure is being made from waste. Ara Nagar Nigam is preparing 100 kg of manure daily using a food waste composting machine. This manure is being sold at just 6 rupees per kilo, benefiting the residents by providing relief from waste and foul odors.
Waste to Best in Ara Nagar Nigam
Ara Nagar Nigam is using food waste and vegetable waste to create organic manure through natural and machine processes. Two composting machines have been installed in Lohiya Maidan, along with the construction of 30 pits. This has made it easier to manage wet waste, reducing bad odors and creating valuable organic manure.
Automatic Food Waste Composting Machine
The food waste composting machines installed by Ara Nagar Nigam are fully automatic, processing 500 kg of food waste daily. These machines, purchased at around 27 lakhs, mainly handle waste from hotels and restaurants. The processed waste, including vegetable scraps and food items, is converted into organic manure for agricultural and gardening purposes.
बिहार के भोजपुर में एक नई शुरुआत की गई है जिसमें कचरे से जैविक खाद बनाई जा रही है। नगर निगम द्वारा लगाई गई फूड वेस्ट कंपोस्टिंग मशीन के माध्यम से हर दिन 100 किलो खाद तैयार की जा रही है और इसको 6 रुपए किलो के हिसाब से बेचा जा रहा है। यह मुहिम न केवल पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने में मददगार है बल्कि शहरवासियों को भी दोहरा फायदा पहुंचा रही है।
