The NIA and Income Tax teams arrived at the Housing Board Colony in Barari Police Station area where a property dealer named Shankar Yadav resides. The raid continued until late night, resulting in the arrest of Shankar Yadav. More than 1 crore rupees in cash was also seized from his house. The following day, Shankar Yadav was taken to the Sadar Hospital by the police for a medical examination before being presented in court. When asked about the NIA and Income Tax teams raiding his house, and his alleged connection with Jharkhand gangster Aman Sahu, Shankar Yadav denied any association with Aman Sahu and stated that he had never been to Ranchi before. He also clarified that he does not have any pending cases with the NIA. When asked about the large amount of cash found during the raid, Shankar Yadav defended himself by stating that he had a registry for the money and that his work involved commission brokerage for the past 22 years. He further explained that he works on construction projects in both Bihar and Jharkhand, and sells the completed buildings. When questioned about the NIA raid on his house, Shankar Yadav pointed out that it was related to his connection with Moti Yadav. He claimed that he had given land near S.M College to Moti Yadav, who transferred money to him. Moti Yadav has a case with the NIA, which led to action being taken against Shankar Yadav as well. He emphasized that the allegations against him were baseless.
