**Nine accused sentenced to life imprisonment in kidnapping case**
The Upper District Judge Suman Kumar Divakar sentenced nine accused to life imprisonment and a fine of 11 lakh rupees in a kidnapping case on Wednesday. The accused, Ramn Kumar Thakur alias Chunnu Thakur, who ran a gold and silver shop, was involved in the abduction case. The primary report of the kidnapping case was filed by the father of the victim at the Singhwara police station, stating that the kidnapper demanded a ransom of five crore rupees over the phone.
**Accused arrested after investigation**
After further investigation, one of the kidnappers was arrested and he revealed the involvement of Ramn Thakur, alias Chunnu Thakur. Public Prosecutor Nasruddin conducted the case, while assisting counsels Rishabh Srivastava and Anil Kumar Singh informed that nine accused were sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of 11 lakh rupees in the case of demanding a ransom of five crore rupees.
**Multiple accused sentenced to imprisonment**
The accused involved in the case, including Ajay Singh, Naval Kishore Sahni, Ajay Kishore Singh Kaurav Army, Hamid Khan alias Hamid, Suman Kumar alias Lalbabu from Muzaffarpur district, Raviranjan, Amarendra Kumar Singh, and Bablu Jha Rohit Kumar from Sitamarhi district, were sentenced to life imprisonment under Section 364 A of the IPC. Additionally, they were sentenced to five years imprisonment and a fine of 5 lakh rupees under Section 328, and two years imprisonment and a fine of 50,000 rupees under Section 344, along with other sections.
दरभंगा के अपर सत्र न्यायाधीश सुमन कुमार दिवाकर ने सोना चांदी की दुकान चलाने वाले रमण कुमार ठाकुर उर्फ चुन्नू ठाकुर को अपहरण मामले में 9 अन्य आरोपियों के साथ आजीवन सजा और 11 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना सुनाया। इस मामले में पुलिस ने रमन के पिता विष्णुदेव ठाकुर को भी दर्ज करवाया था। अभियोजन पक्ष का कहना है कि पांच करोड़ रुपये की मांग के मामले में नौ आरोपियों को आजीवन सजा और अर्थदंड की सजा सुनाई गई है। इसके अलावा, अन्य धाराओं में भी सजा सुनाई गई है।
