The Congress party, which had distanced itself from the Indian National Congress (INC) alliance in the recent assembly elections in five states, announced a meeting of this alliance in Delhi on December 6, immediately after the decisive defeat. After Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, and Hemant Soren, when the chief architect of this opposition unity, Nitish Kumar, distanced himself from it, the meeting was canceled. The next day, on December 17, RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav also announced that “everyone will come in this.” The next day, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also spoke out. He not only announced his participation in the meeting on December 17 but also declared his strength for it. Before the cabinet meeting on December 5, Nitish, who had not left the Chief Minister’s residence for several days due to illness, also answered the questions of the opposition parties in Bihar. He also revealed the reality of health.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that we want the work of the INC alliance to move forward. Let everything be resolved quickly and swiftly. We were sick. We had a fever, so we could not attend the meeting. If there is another meeting in the future, will we not attend? Is that possible? We want everyone to work quickly. In the next meeting, we will again say to everyone to quickly discuss and finalize everything among themselves. Don’t delay now. You can see how hard we have been trying for a year. When the election is held in between, all parties start fighting.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that it is said without any reason that we want something. I am clearly saying that we don’t want anything. We want everyone to fight together. We want to work for the benefit of the country. Those who are in power are changing the entire history of the country. We want everyone to fight together and not forget the fight for independence. Haven’t we served for so long? We want everyone to fight together.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that we had a slight fever. The temperature did not even reach 100.
