On Thursday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the Tourist Facility Center being built in Kesariya, East Champaran. He wanted to see how the construction was going and spoke to the officials about the auditorium and tourist facilities being set up there.
Nitish Kumar emphasized that the construction work should be completed quickly. He noted that many tourists visit the famous Kesariya Buddhist Stupa, and this new center will help provide them with better services and information about Buddhism and Bihar’s rich history.
The center will have a 5D theater with space for 48 people, showcasing important teachings of Buddhism. There will also be a Bihar Pavilion displaying the state’s historical heritage and over 90 sculptures. Additionally, replicas of famous Buddhist monuments from Bihar will be placed around the campus.
During his visit, the Chief Minister also checked the facilities at the Kesariya Buddhist Stupa complex, ensuring that everything is well-maintained for visitors. He stressed the importance of preserving this site and improving tourist services.
Later, he inspected the Health and Wellness Center in Tajpur, where he gathered details about the medical services provided. He also distributed Ayushman cards to beneficiaries and encouraged local officials to ensure patients receive proper care without any inconvenience.
