Nitish Kumar has taken the oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar once again, marking his 10th term in this role. The ceremony took place on Thursday at Gandhi Maidan, where the Governor, Arif Mohammad Khan, administered the oath. It was a significant event attended by many leaders and supporters.

Along with Nitish Kumar, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers. Several other ministers took their oaths, including members from both the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party. This new cabinet includes 25 ministers in total, with a mix of experienced and new faces.

The composition of the cabinet is quite diverse. It features 16 ministers from the BJP, 5 from JDU, along with representatives from other parties like LJP (Ra), HAM, and RLM. Notably, there are three women ministers: Lacey Singh, Rama Nishad, and Shreyasi Singh, while Jama Khan represents the Muslim community.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the swearing-in ceremony, arriving at Patna airport around 11 am. He headed straight to the venue by helicopter to witness the important occasion. This event marks a significant moment in Bihar’s political landscape.

As the new government begins its work, the focus will be on addressing the challenges faced by the state. With a fresh cabinet in place, the leaders will need to prioritize development and governance to meet the expectations of the people of Bihar.
