Important Seat Sharing Discussions in Bihar NDA

The announcement of Lok Sabha election dates has been made, making the next two to three days extremely crucial in terms of seat sharing within the Bihar NDA. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself is going to Delhi to discuss the distribution of seats. Nitish Kumar is expected to meet top BJP leaders in Delhi, and the final decision on seat distribution within the NDA in Bihar could be announced from Delhi.

Nitish Kumar’s Busy Schedule

According to sources, Nitish Kumar is scheduled to return to Bihar from Delhi on March 21st. Therefore, the discussions regarding seat sharing within the NDA alliance in Bihar are of utmost importance on March 19th and 20th. Meanwhile, a crucial meeting between Congress and RJD regarding seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections is set to take place on Monday. Congress is staking claim on the traditional seats of Sasaram and Aurangabad in the first phase of elections in Bihar.

Seat Allocation Delays in Bihar

Interestingly, no party has announced the names of their candidates for the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar yet. It is believed that all parties will reach a consensus within the next two to three days, but both the Mahagathbandhan and NDA are waiting for each other’s candidate lists.
