Nitish Kumar Unveils Rs 827 Crore Development Blueprint in Samastipur, Promoting Governance and Infrastructure Progress

Recently, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held an event in Samastipur where he shared a new development plan. This took place on a Thursday at the Engineering College grounds in Narghoghi, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation for 188 projects. The total investment for these projects is ₹827 crore, showing that the government is serious about making real changes.

During the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that the government is committed to development, good governance, and inclusive growth. He laid the foundation for 71 schemes costing ₹471 crore and announced that ₹20.45 crore will be allocated for projects like the construction of residences for officers. This is seen as a strategic move by the ruling party as elections approach.

For the public, these developments mean better facilities and infrastructure. The Chief Minister announced plans for new government buildings in 10 blocks, along with barracks for women constables in various locations. This focus on women’s empowerment and improved law enforcement is considered a positive step forward.

Additionally, work has started on 43 projects worth ₹84 crore under the Rural Development Department. This includes building 42 rural roads and one bridge, which will improve connectivity for rural areas. There’s a specific plan to connect Harpur Singhia to Natthudwar and Buzurgdwar, making travel easier for residents.

Upon arriving in Samastipur, the Chief Minister checked on the progress of a bridge connecting Darbhanga and instructed the officials to ensure timely completion. The presence of Deputy Chief Ministers added more importance to the event. Overall, this is a clear message that in Bihar, the focus is shifting to action and results rather than mere promises.
