JDU MLA Comments on Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Mutton Party

Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur: JDU MLA Gopal Mandal has once again grabbed headlines with his comments on the Mutton Party hosted by Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Prasad Yadav. Mandal stated that Rahul Gandhi is not eligible to become the Prime Minister. He also mentioned that Lalu Yadav has become irritable after undergoing a kidney transplant.

Gopal Mandal, while speaking to journalists at his residence, expressed his admiration for Lalu Yadav as their favorite leader. He mentioned that they have contested elections several times under Lalu Yadav’s guidance. Although Lalu Yadav is known as the Messiah of Bihar, Mandal believes that the current political scenario is different and Lalu Yadav’s age has increased.

Mandal further stated that Lalu Yadav’s mind has become more stubborn after the kidney transplant, leading him to contemplate certain things. Taking a dig at Misa Bharti, he commented on her learning the art of making Bihari mutton from Rahul Gandhi. Mandal sarcastically mentioned that the people of Bihar are eating Rajasthani mutton while Rahul Gandhi is learning the techniques of Bihari mutton. In a humorous tone, he questioned how Lalu Prasad would eat mutton without a kidney, as the liver is essential for digesting mutton.

Gopal Mandal’s statement may cause strain in the JDU and RJD alliance. The MLA expressed his opinion that the country has had consecutive Prime Ministers from the Congress, but he does not believe Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister. He emphasized that Nitish Kumar has brought together parties from across the country, presenting a new vision for India. The final decision on the next Prime Minister of India will be made by the public, whether it is Nitish Kumar or someone else.
