Protest by E-Rickshaw Drivers Causes Chaos in Bhagalpur

Authorities Respond to the Situation
In response to the strike, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dhnanjay Kumar and City DSP Ajay Choudhary reached the protest site. Some members of the protesting E-rickshaw union were taken into custody by the police.

The protesting drivers claim that the coding system implemented by the district administration is affecting their earnings. They argue that the routes assigned to them based on coding do not generate sufficient income, causing distress among the drivers.

The drivers are urging the district administration to reconsider the coding system and engage in discussions to find a solution. While the authorities are in talks with the E-rickshaw union members, the situation remains tense in Bhagalpur.
