The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation has made arrangements for this service. By depositing a sum of Rs 23,000 in the BDTDC travel trade account, individuals can book for e-Pind Daan. The rituals will be conducted at Vishnupad Temple, Akshayavat, and Falgu River. The entire process, including chanting, donations, and offering of puja items, will be done online.
The complete video recording of the Pind Daan rituals will also be provided to the individuals. It will be saved in a pen drive and made available to the sponsors. The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation’s website contains all the necessary information for e-Pind Daan booking. Interested individuals can visit the website and book their slots.
Additionally, the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation has arranged travel tour packages for devotees attending the Pitru Paksha Mela. These packages provide suitable accommodation for visitors coming from different parts of the country and abroad. Different packages are available based on the duration and type of hotel accommodation. The rates range from Rs 16,650 for a one-day Patna-Punpur-Gaya-Patna tour to Rs 32,850 for a four-star hotel package for four people. AC and non-AC options are available for hotel stays.
