Violence at Panchayat Samiti Member
A shocking incident of a Panchayat Samiti member, Bhado Topo, being beaten with slaps and sticks has come to light. The station in-charge’s involvement in the incident has raised serious allegations such as indecent behavior, extortion of money, verbal abuse of public representatives, taking money in the name of vehicle inspection, and demanding money in the name of character evidence.
Protest by Locals
On the day of the election, without any reason, at booth number 61 in Guwa Bazaar, station in-charge Gopal Kumar charged lathi on Panchayat Samiti member Bhado Topo present there. This led to a strong protest by all public representatives and villagers against the station in-charge. The locals demanded the suspension of the station in-charge and surrounded the Guwa police station.
Assurance by SDPO
Kiriburu SDPO Ajay Kerketta gave assurance to the protesting villagers over the phone. In this regard, SDPO Ajay Kerketta stated that an inquiry report of yesterday’s incident had been requested by the Police Superintendent. The station in-charge Gopal Kumar has been called for questioning and action will be taken against him and SI Ajay Kumar Singh after sending the inquiry report by evening.
Legal Action Initiated
The Police Superintendent has directed for legal action to be taken against the station in-charge Gopal Kumar and SI Ajay Kumar Singh. They have been asked to report for questioning and further action will be taken based on the inquiry report. The incident has caused an uproar in the local community and legal proceedings are underway against the accused.
पंचायत समिति सदस्य भादों टोप्पो को थप्पड़ एवं लाठी से मारने के बाद थाना प्रभारी का खुला काला चिट्ठा मिलने के बाद गुवा थाना प्रभारी गोपाल कुमार पर लाठी चार्ज किया गया, जिससे ग्रामीणों ने हंगामा किया। इसके बाद किरीबुरू एसडीपीओ अजय केरकेट्टा ने आश्वासन दिया कि कार्रवाई होगी और कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। थाना प्रभारी और एसआई के ऊपर जांच होगी।
