Jharkhand Weather Update

In the capital and surrounding areas of Jharkhand, there were partly cloudy skies on Friday. Despite the clouds, the temperature in Ranchi increased by one degree compared to the previous 24 hours. The maximum temperature in Ranchi was 38.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 27.2 degrees Celsius, both above normal.

Forecast for Next Three Days

According to the weather department, Ranchi will continue to experience light clouds in the sky over the next three days, leading to an increase in humidity and warm weather. There may be a one to two-degree increase in the maximum temperature during this period. Weather changes and possible rains are expected in the capital after the 21st.

Rainfall in Santal Region

Other parts of the state also experienced warm weather, with districts like Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Kodarma, Pakur, Jamtara, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, and others having hot days. Light rain was reported in the Santal areas in the past 24 hours, with Rajmahal receiving the most rainfall at 70 millimeters. The weather department predicts a heatwave in certain districts over the next three days.

Changing Weather Patterns

Prior to the monsoon, there have been continuous changes in wind patterns in Jharkhand, with western winds and moist air at lower levels. After the 21st, southern winds are expected to bring thick clouds and scattered rains in Ranchi and surrounding areas. The maximum temperature is likely to increase during this period, with the possibility of heatwaves in Santal and Palamu districts.
