This article shares an incident in which a young woman was slapped by a co-passenger on a train, leading to a physical altercation.

A shocking incident took place on the Tejas Rajdhani Express train traveling from Patna to Delhi. A young woman was slapped by a fellow passenger when she tried to open her middle berth to settle in for the night. This incident happened at Patna Junction railway station, where the train was preparing to depart.

The young woman was feeling unwell and was assisted by her uncle, a retired railway officer. When she opened her berth, a 45-year-old man sitting below reacted violently. He slapped her, and when her uncle intervened, he attacked him as well. The uncle, who is 67, suffered injuries during the altercation.

The retired railway official, Brij Kishore Singh, reported that the incident escalated quickly. Despite being a former Commercial Superintendent, he felt let down when the Railway Protection Force (RPF) did not take immediate action against the assailant. After the incident, the attacker fled the scene.

Following the incident, the victims called the railway helpline to report what had happened. They received medical treatment at a railway hospital for their injuries. However, the RPF personnel present did not take any action against the man who attacked them, which added to their frustration.

The police are currently looking for the attacker, who has been identified as Rohit Kumar. They are trying to locate him, but so far, his whereabouts remain unknown. The retired official and his niece chose to discontinue their journey after the incident.
