Due to the G-20 conference being held in the country’s capital Delhi, the routes of many trains going to Delhi have been changed and many trains have also been short terminated, due to which passengers may have to face problems. Railways is also claiming to have made special arrangements to ensure that passengers do not face any problems due to this change. According to CPRO of North Central Railway, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, the operation of trains has been affected due to the mega event like G20, but necessary steps are being taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to the passengers.
Train Cancellations and Terminal Changes
According to CPRO, two pairs of trains of North-Central Railway i.e. four regular mail express trains have had to be canceled on 09 and 10 September, in which Taj Express train from Nizamuddin to Jhansi will be canceled on 9 and 10 September while from Kanpur Central to Anand Vihar. The weekly train going to the terminal will be canceled on 10th September. Apart from this, the terminals of eight regular mail express trains have been changed. The trains which used to go to New Delhi will go to Nizamuddin Railway Station or Anand Vihar Terminal only.
Local Train Cancellations and Route Changes
Later these trains will also originate from these stations. Apart from this, some local trains have also been canceled in which Dankaur Shakur Basti Special, New Delhi Palwal Special, Kosikala New Delhi Special and Shakur Basti Dankaur Special trains will remain canceled on 09, 10 and 11 September. Apart from this, changes have also been made in the terminals of some local and MEMU trains. These trains will also be operated on the changed route.
Efforts to Minimize Inconvenience
According to CPRO, about one and a half dozen trains of North Central Railway will originate and terminate from other stations. According to CPRO, in this entire process, full care has been taken to ensure that common passengers face minimum inconvenience. For this, passengers are also being made aware through communication mediums.

इलाहाबाद। देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में आयोजित हो रहे जी-20 सम्मेलन के कारण दिल्ली जाने वाली कई ट्रेनों के मार्ग बदल दिए गए हैं और कई ट्रेनों को छोटे किया गया है, जिसके कारण यात्रियों को समस्या का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। रेलवे भी दावा कर रही है कि यात्रियों को इस परिवर्तन के कारण कोई समस्या नहीं होने पाए। उत्तर मध्य रेलवे के सीपीआरओ हिमांशु शेखर उपाध्याय के अनुसार, जी-20 जैसी मेगा घटना के कारण ट्रेनों का संचालन प्रभावित हुआ है, लेकिन यात्रियों को न्यूनतम असुविधा का सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।
सीपीआरओ के अनुसार, उत्तर मध्य रेलवे के दो जोड़ी ट्रेनें यानि चार नियमित मेल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनें 09 और 10 सितंबर को रद्द करनी पड़ी हैं, जिसमें निजामुद्दीन से झांसी जाने वाली ताज एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन 9 और 10 सितंबर को रद्द की जाएगी जबकि कानपुर सेंट्रल से आनंद विहार जाने वाली साप्ताहिक ट्रेन 10 सितंबर को रद्द की जाएगी। इसके अलावा, आठ नियमित मेल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों के टर्मिनल बदल दिए गए हैं। जो नई दिल्ली जाती थीं, वे केवल निजामुद्दीन रेलवे स्टेशन या आनंद विहार टर्मिनल ही जाएंगी।
बाद में इन ट्रेनों का संचालन भी इन स्टेशनों से होगा। इसके अलावा, कुछ स्थानीय ट्रेनें भी रद्द की गई हैं, जिसमें दांकौर शाकुर बस्ती स्पेशल, नई दिल्ली पलवल स्पेशल, कोसीकला नई दिल्ली स्पेशल और शाकुर बस्ती दांकौर स्पेशल ट्रेनें 09, 10 और 11 सितंबर को रद्द रहेंगी। इसके अलावा, कुछ स्थानीय और मेमू ट्रेनों के टर्मिनल में भी परिवर्तन किए गए हैं। इन ट्रेनों का संचालन भी परिवर्तित मार्ग पर होगा।
सीपीआरओ के अनुसार, उत्तर मध्य रेलवे की लगभग डोज़न ट्रेनें अन्य स्टेशनों से प्रारंभ होंगी और समाप्त होंगी। सीपीआरओ के अनुसार, इस संपूर्ण प्रक्रिया में, सामान्य यात्रियों को न्यूनतम असुविधा का सामना नहीं करना पड़े, इसके लिए यात्रियों को संचार माध्यमों के माध्यम से जागरूक किया जा रहा है।
