Gaurav Singh/Bhojpur: Passengers on the Danapur Rail Division are now required to reach their seats within 10 minutes of the train’s departure. If they fail to do so, their seats may be given to other passengers and they will be considered ticketless. This new rule, implemented by the Railway Board, aims to streamline the boarding process and ensure that trains depart on time.
No More Waiting at Stations: Previously, passengers were allowed to reach their seats even after one or two stations, and the TTE (Traveling Ticket Examiner) would mark their presence. However, this will no longer be the case. TTEs will now only wait for passengers for a maximum of 10 minutes. Ticket checking is now done through handheld terminals, which provide information on whether the passenger has boarded or not. This eliminates the need for physical paper checks and waiting at stations.
RAC and Waiting List Passengers: Passengers who have RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) or are on the waiting list often move to other coaches due to convenience or urgency. They would usually reach their seats after one or two stations. However, with the new system, the TTE will confirm the availability of the seat online and allocate it to RAC and waiting list passengers if the original passenger does not arrive.

दानापुर रेल मंडल ने यात्रियों के लिए एक आदेश जारी किया है, जिसके अनुसार यात्री ट्रेन में 10 मिनट तक बर्थ पर नहीं पहुंचे हैं तो उनका टिकट बेटिकट हो सकता है। यह आदेश टीटीई स्टाफ को यात्रियों के सीट पर पहुंचने के लिए 10 मिनट का समय देने के लिए है। अब टीटीई स्टाफ एक या दो स्टेशन तक यात्री का इंतजार नहीं करेंगे। RAC या वेटिंग सूची में शामिल यात्री को सीट मिलेगी और टीटीई को यात्री की ऑनलाइन उपस्थिति दर्ज करनी होगी। यह नियम अब दानापुर रेल डिवीजन में लागू होगा।
