Miscreants caught stealing from patients at Katihar Sadar Hospital
A group of patients undergoing treatment at Katihar Sadar Hospital caught a young man red-handed while pickpocketing. The relatives of the patient then apprehended the alleged thief, tied him up, and beat him severely. The incident was reported to the police, who took custody of the thief.
Increasing incidents of theft at the hospital
The relatives of the patients expressed concern over the rising incidents of theft at the hospital, ranging from bike theft to mobile phone theft and now pickpocketing. They claimed that despite the presence of security personnel, thefts continue to occur due to their negligence.
Action to be taken against the culprits
Police station in-charge Suman Kumar Singh stated that they have received information about the incident through a mobile video. The police have dispatched a team to rescue the accused from the mob and bring him to the station for further investigation. Legal action will be taken against the culprits after a thorough investigation with the hospital administration.
