Patna Airport is working to increase flights to all states in India, including plans for international routes.

Patna Airport is getting ready to expand its flight services after the opening of a new terminal. Currently, there are direct flights to a few states. The airport management is now in talks with airlines to connect Patna with all states in India.

The response from airline companies has been positive regarding these efforts. Soon, we can expect more flights to be announced, making travel more accessible for everyone in Patna.

Right now, Patna is connected to nine states with around 80 flights. If more connections are made, this number could rise to nearly 100 flights. This will provide better travel options for passengers looking to explore different parts of the country.

The airport director mentioned that they want to connect Patna to all state capitals. However, the runway currently has some limitations due to nearby buildings, which affects flight operations. To improve this, extending the runway by 500 meters is necessary.

There are also plans to introduce international flights, starting with a route to Kathmandu. The state government is taking steps to make this happen. Recent meetings were held with airline leaders to discuss these developments and enhance travel options for passengers.
