Patna Airport is set to welcome new food and retail shops to enhance passenger experience.
Patna Airport is getting a major upgrade soon! The Airport Authority of India has announced that new food ventures and retail shops will open up at the airport. This change aims to improve the overall experience for travelers, similar to what you find in bigger metro cities.
In total, there will be 40 new shops, including 17 retail outlets and 23 food and beverage options. The retail shops will cover an area of about 1145 square meters, while the food section will take up 1200 square meters. Well-known brands like Barista, Subway, and Starbucks will be part of this new food experience.
For passengers, this means they will soon have the option to grab snacks, coffee, and even shop for stylish clothes, shoes, and accessories right at the airport. The new shops will be located in three main areas: the Error Area, Departure Area, and the Multi-Level Car Parking area.
Additionally, two executive lounges will be set up, providing comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and food services. This will make Patna Airport more than just a transit point; it will offer a modern experience for everyone.
All these new facilities are expected to be ready before Chhath Puja in 2025, as the number of travelers typically increases during this festival. This upgrade is aimed at making travel more convenient while also boosting tourism and business in Bihar.
