Robbery in Broad Daylight in Patna: Rs 20 Lakh Looted from Finance Company Managers
On Thursday morning, four criminals looted Rs 20 lakh 70 thousand 500 from the manager and deputy manager of a finance company in the Agamkuan police station area of Patna. The incident took place just 300 meters away from the finance company while the managers were on their way to deposit the money in a bank. The police have arrived at the scene and are investigating the incident with the help of CCTV footage.
Details of the Crime
The branch manager and deputy manager were traveling on a bike to deposit the money in a bank when two bikes with four criminals approached them. The criminals pointed a pistol at their heads, took the key of the bike, and stole a bag full of money. One of the criminals ran straight, while the other fled in the opposite direction waving the pistol. Eyewitnesses reported that the criminals had covered their faces and appeared to be around 20-25 years old.
Witnesses and Investigation
Witnesses stated that prior to the robbery, four youths on two bikes had parked near a grocery shop and were waiting for the managers to pass by. As soon as the incident occurred, the branch manager informed the police and the regional office about the robbery. Police officers, including the ASP and the station president, reached the spot and an FIR has been registered.
