Patna High Court Orders to Stop the Salary of Highlights Reader
The Patna High Court has ordered the release of funds for the state’s universities for the financial year 2023-24 within 10 days. If the funds are not released within the specified period, the court may issue a major order to stop the salaries of education department officials. Additionally, the court has also imposed a ban on the operation of accounts of three universities on the orders of the education department. The next hearing on this matter is scheduled for June 25.
High Court Indicates to Stop the Salary of Education Department Officials
The Patna High Court has indicated to stop the salaries of education department officials, including the Additional Chief Secretary K.P. Pathak, during the hearing of a case related to the salaries of university employees. The court has also directed not to implement the order to stop the salary of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University’s Vice Chancellor for not taking his salary.
Patna High Court Conducts Joint Hearing on 11 Cases
On Friday, the Patna High Court conducted a joint hearing on a total of 11 cases filed by universities. The accounts of three universities were put on hold by the education department until further orders due to their non-participation in a budget review meeting called by the state universities. The court has warned the education department to make immediate payment of the approved budget amount for the university. Failure to do so will result in a halt on the salaries of officials as directed by the court.
पटना हाईकोर्ट ने विश्वविद्यालय के वेतन रोकने का आदेश दिया है और विश्वविद्यालय के फंड जारी करने की निर्देश दिया है। अगर फंड नहीं जारी किया जाता है, तो विभाग के अधिकारियों के वेतन पर रोक लगा दी जाएगी। इस मामले पर 25 जून को अगली सुनवाई होगी। शिक्षा विभाग और उच्च न्यायालय के बीच 11 मामलों की सुनवाई में भगददी मामले पर विचार किया गया है। शिक्षा विभाग ने भी दलील दी है कि वीसी की बैठक में भाग नहीं लेने पर विश्वविद्यालय को कोई धनराशि नहीं दी जाएगी।
