The Chief Minister recently laid the foundation stone for eight new road projects under the Samagra Samaji Urban Development Scheme in Patna. This event took place on Patna New Road, and it aims to enhance road facilities for the citizens of Patna, especially in wards 36 and 38.

Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen announced that these projects will help in providing smoother traffic flow and better road conditions. The investment in these schemes will significantly benefit many residents in the capital, making daily commutes easier and more efficient.

These improvements include various construction works like PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) and drainage systems in different wards. For example, significant works are planned on Lalji Tola and Saraswati Lane, with costs ranging from Rs 13 lakh to over Rs 58 lakh for different areas.

Moreover, the Road Construction Department is also enhancing the existing roads by widening and strengthening a 7.348 km stretch in the Patna Sadar block. This project is set at a cost of Rs 20.11 crore and includes several important areas like Rajendra Math and Buddha Murthy.

Once these projects are completed, Patna residents can expect better roads, improved drainage, and overall enhanced traffic conditions. These changes will not only ease daily travel but will also contribute to the city’s development and aesthetics.
