The Patna Metro project is picking up speed and is set to change how people travel in the city. By the end of December, the metro will start operations at five stations, connecting ISBT to Malahi Pakri. This new route will help ease traffic in the eastern part of Patna.

Most of the construction work at Malahi Pakri station is done, and work is also going fast at Khemnichak station, which is crucial for connections. Officials are now in the final stages of testing and safety checks before opening the metro line to the public.

For commuters, the Patna Junction Metro Station will be a major hub where the Red Line and Blue Line will connect. This will make travel easier across important routes like Danapur to Khemnichak and New ISBT to Patna Junction. The metro is expected to enhance the overall transport experience for passengers.

One exciting feature of the metro is the 9.35 km underground section from Patna Junction to Rukanpura and Mithapur. The Rajendra Nagar metro station will be the deepest in Patna, located 21 meters underground. This unique design will allow direct transfers between the metro and trains.

Looking ahead, a team from Delhi Metro will arrive in Patna on January 15 to inspect key stations before the project gets final approval. This visit is a significant step towards making the metro operational for the public.
