Bihar government’s stability is currently based on speculations. There have been rumors that Nitish Kumar might resign on Saturday and a new government will take oath on Sunday. However, on Friday, the government continued its official work by issuing transfer orders for IAS officers and a major reshuffle in the Indian Police Service officers. On Saturday morning, there were discussions about the transfer orders in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, which is held by the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Previously, the department was under the minister from the RJD quota, Alok Mehta. Last year, the Chief Minister had cancelled transfer orders for senior revenue and district officials. This time, the minister is also from the RJD. A total of 478 district officials and revenue officers have been transferred.
