With Diwali, Dhanteras, and Chhath festivals just around the corner, many people are rushing back home. These celebrations will take place from 18th to 20th October. A lot of working professionals and students from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune are heading to Patna, creating a big crowd at the airport.

Due to the high demand for flights, airlines have increased fares significantly. Many flights from major cities to Patna are almost fully booked. The ticket prices are now much higher than usual, and it is expected that they may not drop back to normal levels before 10th November.

For instance, flights from Delhi to Patna are priced between Rs 12,700 to Rs 23,500 on 18th October. By 25th October, these fares could reach the higher end of the scale. From Mumbai, tickets range from Rs 18,400 to Rs 30,100, while Bengaluru fares vary from Rs 8,600 to Rs 17,500.

Some other routes are also seeing steep fare increases. For example, tickets from Hyderabad to Patna are priced between Rs 12,800 to Rs 22,961. Even fares from Pune are high, ranging from Rs 20,900 to Rs 25,900. In fact, travel costs are now higher than flights to popular tourist destinations like Bangkok and Bali.

Normally, airfares from Delhi to Patna are around Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000, but now they have skyrocketed. Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance and prepare for potential delays due to the limited number of seats available.
