Bihar is set to get the Amrit Bharat Express train connecting Patna to Mumbai, enhancing travel options for people in the state.


A new train service called Amrit Bharat Express is coming soon to Bihar. This train will run from Patna, the state capital, all the way to Mumbai, which is the financial hub of India. The preparations for this service are almost done, and it is expected to be a big relief for the people of Bihar.

The East Central Railway has received approval for this new train from the Railway Board. The plan has also been supported by two other divisions, and they are just waiting for the final orders. The timetable for the Patna-Mumbai Amrit Bharat Express is already being prepared and should be finalized by January.

This train is expected to run three days a week, making it easier for passengers to travel between these two important cities. Currently, there are 13 other Amrit Bharat Express trains operating in Bihar, connecting major locations like Patna-Anand Vihar and Muzaffarpur-Cherlapalli.

The introduction of this train is a part of a larger effort to improve rail connectivity in Bihar. Alongside this train, the Railway Board plans to launch 26 more Amrit Bharat Express trains in the near future, enhancing travel options even more.

Once the Amrit Bharat Express is operational, traveling from Bihar to Mumbai will become much more convenient for everyone. This new service is seen as a significant step towards better development and connectivity for the state.
