Shameful Incident in Sitamarhi
Yet another incident has come to light which has left the safety of girls inside homes increasingly difficult. In Sitamarhi, a minor girl, who was not even able to call her grandfather, was forcibly assaulted by an offender. Previous attempts had been made, but were unsuccessful. This time, the offender succeeded in executing his plan to ruin the girl’s life. The police have apprehended the accused of committing the crime against the eight-year-old girl.
Development Plans for East Central Railway Headquarters in Hajipur
Prime Minister Modi announced development plans worth Rs. 13,228 crore for the East Central Railway headquarters in Hajipur, Bihar. He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a washing pit line with a cost of Rs. 50 crore in Narkatia Ganj, along with a coaching complex. Additionally, the honorable Prime Minister dedicated the New Chiraila Pathu-New Sonnagar-New DDU railway line of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor to the nation.
Three Vande Bharat Trains as a Gift to Bihar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated three Vande Bharat trains for Bihar in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The three Vande Bharat trains are: Patna-Gomtinagar Vande Bharat, Patna-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat, and Koderma-Gaya-DDU via Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat. With these additions, Bihar now has a total of five Vande Bharat trains operational. The regular operation of these trains will commence from March 18.
Preparations for Seat Sharing in Bihar
Following the announcement of the Citizenship Amendment Act the previous day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated several development plans for the country. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was also present virtually during this event. After welcoming these initiatives, all eyes are now on the final decision regarding seat sharing among the components of the National Democratic Alliance. Leaders of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and the Vikasheel Insaan Party, Chirag Paswan and Mukesh Sahni, will remain in the news amidst these developments.
